  • Why foreign investors are flocking to India's stock markets again

The moves come after the two countries recalled their diplomats for consultations as tensions flared after a February 14 suicide attack on a convoy of Indian paramilitary soldiers in Pulwama in the Indian-held portion Kashmir that killed 40 soldiers.

India on Saturday demanded that Pakistan take concrete steps against terrorists operating from its territory, while at the same time returning its top diplomat to Islamabad amid an easing of tensions between the nuclear rivals.

Pakistan says it has arrested 44 people, including the brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar who was apparently named in a dossier given to Islamabad by New Delhi.

Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan Ajay Bisaria reached Islamabad on Saturday and will resume office soon, sources told ANI.

India is suspicious of Pakistan's statements it has clamped down on the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) group that claimed a suicide bombing in Kashmir last month that set off the showdown. "Instead of taking action against terrorist groups, Pakistan escalated the situation and indulged in war hysteria by doing things like declaring emergency in Karachi, blocking air traffic and creating rumours, which is part of its familiar pattern", the official said, adding, "India on the other hand exercised restraint".

"This government will not allow Pakistan's land to be used for any kind of outside terrorism", Khan said while addressing a rally in southern Pakistan.

Zion Williamson ‘doubtful’ for UNC, Krzyzewski says
But he said it's more likely Williamson will return for Duke's first ACC tournament game on March 14. Williamson, the Duke coach said, is "doubtful", letting North Carolina dangle for another 22 hours.

He said that India's non-military counterterrorism strike conducted on February 26 achieved the intended objective and has demonstrated our firm resolve to take decisive action against cross-border terrorism.

Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday said no militant group would be allowed to operate from Pakistani soil to carry out attacks overseas, days after his government announced a sweeping crackdown against Islamist militant organisations.

"India hasn't shared yet any actionable information and proof against anybody", Chaudhry said.

But Khan said there was a huge desire to build a peaceful and stable Pakistan.

The next day Pakistani aircraft shot down at least one Indian aircraft and captured its pilot after it violated the airspace.
