  • Twitter Can't Handle Joy Villa's Outrageous Border Wall-Inspired 2019 Grammys Look

Singer Joy Villa arrives for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards on February 10, 2019, in Los Angeles.

On Sunday, Villa hit the red carpet at the Grammys, showing her support for President Trump.

"I'm part Latina. I'm black and I believe in what the President's saying", she told the Los Angeles Times.

Her dress designer, the Filipino-born couture artist Andre Soriano, also designed LGBT advocate and singer Ricky Rebel's MAGA red carpet outfit this year.

She accessorized her gown with a spiked tiara, barbed wire shoulder pieces and a red clutch emblazoned with "Make America Great Again", Trump's campaign slogan. The brand shared a disclaimer on Instagram, writing that the "views, thoughts, and opinions expressed by my clients are not necessarily the same as my views, thoughts, and opinions".

Villa, an outspoken Trump supporter, has become known for using her Grammy looks to make pointed statements.

In 2015, she again created a stir when she sported a sheer dress of orange netting. "I support what the president says about building the wall, so that's what this dress represents".

Along with photos showing the dress from both sides, Villa tweeted, "I don't care what anyone thinks". In 2018, Villa made headlines for wearing a rainbow-colored anti-abortion dress, and in 2017, she wore a blue "Make America Great Again" dress.

A mic'd up Christian Hackenberg kept cursing during his very bad AAF debut
Hackenberg, when speaking to the CDT prior to the AAF's draft, said he just needs "to get out there and play ball". Steve Spurrier has 26 years overall of coaching experience, and he holds a record for 11 victories in bowl games.

Villa is no stranger to shocking the crowds at the Grammys.

After receiving criticism, Villa defended herself on Twitter and spoke out about reasons she supports the border wall.

As part of the weird ensemble, she also sported a barbed wire look around her shoulders.

"When Trump came in the picture, at first I hated him", said Villa, who attended high school in Santa Barbara and now splits her time between West Hollywood and NY, according to THR.

First up is Villa, who dressed as President Trump's hotly contested border wall. Eventually she decided Trump needed public support.

Rebel explained that he wanted to channel an alpha on the red carpet. "I listen to truth", she wrote in the caption.

"One in three women who are trying to come to this country illegally are sexually assaulted", Villa continued. I approach it as a show.
