  • Netflix Announces ‘Stranger Things’ Season 3 Premiere Date (Watch)

Stranger Things also released a teaser clip announcing the new season just minutes into 2019, appropriately showing a video of the late Dick Clark counting down to the new year back in 1985, when the show is set.

Are you hyped for more Stranger Things?

That changed on New Year'd Eve, when Netflix dropped a very creepy promo video.

The teaser showed a clip of a New Year's Eve celebration hosted by Dick Clark, which seemed innocuous enough, though various parts of the transmission were interrupted by freakish screens of information.

Manhunt underway after suspect fired into vehicle, killing 7-year-old girl
Razo said his department will continue to investigate the incident and "use all of our resources to bring this killer to justice". Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez identified the shooter as "a white male, 40s, a beard", in a Twitter post .

Check out the trailer below! An image featuring July 4th fireworks, the show's heroes, and the same tagline as the teaser suggests the action will indeed take place on Independence Day in 1985.

Check it out in full above, then have a peek at the newest poster for Stranger Things season 3 below. It looks like it is some type of computer program, but that's all we can guess at this point. Netflix delivered a gift to U.S. viewers at the stroke of midnight, East Coast time, just as 2018 slipped into 2019, revealing the season 3 premiere date for the hit streaming show.

Surely, that will be released in the next few months.

The makers of Stranger Things know we're hopelessly obsessed, and they do an unusually brilliant job of stoking the fires of our interest just the right amount.
