Farming, the farm that has been named by the CDC as associated with the current romaine lettuce E. coli O157:H7 outbreak, is recalling more products grown on their farm.

In a press release from Adam Bros Farming, Inc., the company said it was voluntarily recalling red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and cauliflower, harvested from November 27 through November 30.

The farm issued a news release on December 13, saying it was recalling the cauliflower "out of an abundance of caution" and that there had been no reports of illness and so far none of the newly recalled products have been contaminated.

If you think you or a loved one became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor. Farms in Santa Barbara County tested positive for the bacterial strain, and the owners are co-operating with authorities. Farming Inc. of Santa Maria California have been recalled. The red and green leaf lettuce was distributed in California, Colorado, Oregon, Texas, Pennsylvania, Washington and Canada. Because the water may have come in contact with the vegetables, the farm decided on the larger recall. The cauliflower was sold to wholesalers in IL and other states, however the lettuces were not distributed to wholesalers in IL. It was also distributed in Tijuana, Mexico and Canada.

"It can cause nausea, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, and can lead to kidney failure", said Fullbright.
