Considering how popular and in- demand Akshay Kumar is in the North, the film's major collections are coming from there. In the midst of all this, Akshay Kumar drops a promo which vaguely suggests there could be a sequel to 2.0 which will be called 3.0.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, 2.0 (Hindi) earned Rs 18 crore on the second day of its release, which was again a working day. The film ranks eighth among the top Hindi grossers of 2018 so far.

Further, the S.Shankar directed film made around Rs 18.57 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and crossed the $1-million mark in the USA and UAE-GCC.
