Daniel Hernandez, also known as Tekashi 6ix9ine, arriving for his arraignment on assault charges in County Criminal Court #1 at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston, Texas, on August 22, 2018.

His lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, said the rapper - real name Daniel Hernandez - poses no threat and denies directing or playing any other role in violence.

Tekashi 6ix9ine may be taken off the scene as quickly as he blew it up.

His debut album, Day69, is among the most downloaded records on iTunes. His scheduled bail hearing for Tuesday was pushed to Wednesday since the judge was unavailable. "Showing reckless indifference to others' safety, members of the gang were allegedly involved in robberies and shootings, including a shooting inside the crowded Barclay's Center, and a shooting in which an innocent bystander was hit". 6ix9ine said last week that he had fired Shottie and the rest of his management team.

The rapper faces 25 years to life in prison.

After the rapper refused protection, he was arrested on Sunday.

Kevin McCarthy elected House minority leader
Steve Scalise , the current No. 3 House Republican, who successfully vied for the position of minority whip in the new Congress. Charles Grassley was nominated Wednesday to a high-ranking position that would put him third in line for the presidency.

The rapper has been among the most ascendant and controversial names in hip-hop in recent months.

He is also known for the multi-platinum hit Fefe with Nicki Minaj, and Stoopid, featuring rapper Bobby Shmurda, who is now in prison.

The rapper has publicly identified himself as a member of a violent NY gang, 9 Trey Bloods, which was mentioned throughout the indictment.

Page Six just reported that Tekashi 'has spent years as a member of the violent street crew "Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods" - which has been accused of murders, robberies and other mayhem in and around Brooklyn, according to the feds in Manhattan'.

The indictment said each gang member was required to participate in at least two acts of racketeering conspiracy.

"Members and associates of the Enterprise promoted and celebrated the criminal conduct of the Enterprise, namely narcotics distribution, acts involving violence, and the use of firearms, in music and on social media", prosecutors said, according to Rolling Stone. The "FEFE" rapper was already on thin ice after a judge in NY sentenced him to probation for his ongoing child sexual assault case.
