President Donald Trump moved Mira Ricardel from her deputy national security adviser post Wednesday, one day after first lady Melania Trump sought her ouster, the White House announced.

By Wednesday evening, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Ricardel had been assigned to a different position within the administration.

Sanders said Wednesday that President Trump "is grateful for Ms. Ricardel's continued service to the American people and her steadfast pursuit of his national security priorities".

The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday that Ricardel had gotten into a fight with the first lady's staff over resources needed for Melania's Africa trip last month.

But her exit marks an unusually direct intervention by the first lady in internal White House affairs, as she has tended to play a more distant role. National Security Advisor John Bolton became aware of Mrs. Trump's complaints, but Ricardel kept her office until this week, when the FLOTUS office publically called for her removal.

But it appears Ricardel's conflict with Melania Trump was the final straw.

A separate advisor to Soros is reportedly calling for Facebook to investigate the company's PR and lobbying work. According to her, looking into the Russian activity without approval had left the company exposed legally.

In a recent interview with ABC news she suggested there were insiders that she did not trust and that she was "the most bullied person in the world". The power of the first lady is the relationship with the first man.

Kelly was Nielsen's mentor made her his chief of staff when he ran DHS, before moving to the West Wing - where he brought her along before securing her appointment to his old job.

The feud between Ms Ricardel and the First Lady came to the boil in October when the pair argued over arrangements for Mrs Trump's visit to Africa. She previously worked in the Defence Department under President George W Bush.

She's regarded as inflexible and obsessed with process, which some officials complain has complicated co-ordination between the NSC and cabinet agencies.

The former Trump transition official said they were not surprised to hear that Ricardel butted heads with the first lady and her staff, saying, "she does not suffer fools". Her office stated that Ricardel no longer deserved the honour of serving in this administration.

Nick Ayers, a 36-year-old chief of staff to Vice President Mike Pence and renowned political consultant, is reportedly high on Trump's list as a replacement.
