  • Carmelo Anthony’s Rockets tenure is already bottoming out

If he clears waivers, Anthony would be free to sign with any team that wants him, and you'd figure the National Basketball Association isn't out of such teams just yet. "He's been great with us".

Anthony has had a couple of good games, but overall he has been a poor fit for Rockets.

Despite general manager Daryl Morey decrying speculation about Anthony's future as "unfair", the Rockets could place Anthony on waivers as soon as Monday. "Like I said, we'll see what happens".

Houston Rockets forward Carmelo Anthony (7) rubs the ball before the start of the game against the Memphis Grizzlies during the first half of a preseason NBA basketball game, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, in Birmingham, Ala.

Gunman who killed 12 died from self-inflicted gunshot
The blaze broke out on Thursday northeast of the town located about 40 miles (64 km) north of downtown Los Angeles. Associated Press writers Rebecca Boone in Boise, Idaho, and Christopher Weber in Thousand Oaks , contributed.

Rockets GM Daryl Morey recently spoke the on the recent rumors about the Rockets waiving Carmelo Anthony. If so, it is a tenure that will have lasted only 10 games, averaging 13.4 points per game in a little over 29 minutes per night. If the Rockets really do move on from Anthony, will this be the end of his National Basketball Association career?

The Rockets have gotten off to a slow star this season, and while that isn't completely Anthony's fault, his play hasn't been overwhelming. When asked about that report before Sunday night's game, Morey said: "that's inaccurate". Again, that's why he's here.

According to league sources, the Rockets and Anthony had discussions this week about his role, which could be reduced even more if he remains on the roster. "With everybody coming back, it squeezes some things, and then we'll see how it goes". "Everything I can tell is yes, absolutely".
