  • Man with Astros media credential ejected from Indians camera bay in ALDS Game 3

Jackie Bradley Jr blew open Game 3 of the ALCS on Tuesday with a grand slam off Houston Astros reliever Roberto Osuna.

The Houston Astros seem to be in trouble with Major League Baseball after a man, claiming to be a team employee, was removed from a media-credentialed area next to the Boston Red Sox dugout in Game 1 of the ALCS, according to Metro.

After being approached by security, the man left without incident but a second person attempted to replace him several innings later and was denied access to the field area, the AP was told. The man's credential was requested by Houston, according to the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.

To add to the concern, Fenway security was reportedly warned about the man because of similar activity during the Astros' ALDS series against the Cleveland Indians.

The Post learned that MLB's investigation into the matter already was complete before Game 3 began. Sports Boston confirmed the report, and suggested this was not an isolated incident. It's still fishy and the league told the Astros not to do that anymore and report it to the proper authorities.

She was noted telling a crowd in her constituency of MA she was taking a "hard look at running for president" in two years time. Scott Brown - a Republican anomaly in MA - and she was one of the Democrats' best efforts to pick up a Senate seat that year.

But while the Astros feel absolved of any wrongdoing, the incidents taking place during baseball's greatest month have raised questions about sign-stealing and ethics in the age of high-speed, high-definition cameras.

"I'm always concerned about [sign-stealing] throughout the season", Cora said after the game.

"I don't think that person was per se stealing signs", he said.

The Indians reportedly filed a complaint Tuesday with Major League Baseball alleging that the Astros had an employee who was attempting to video Cleveland's dugout during the ALDS. Astros manager AJ Hinch said he was also aware of the report.

The Astros beat the Indians to advance to the ALCS, where they trail the series 2-1 headed into Wednesday night's Game 4.

MLB's statement confirms McLaughlin, the Astros employee, was monitoring the other team's dugout to ensure they were not violating any rules. He was then removed from the media-credentialed area.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Athletics also were suspicious of the Astros in August.
