Chelsea's Maurizio Sarri to rotate Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud over long season

  • Marcos Alonso is in fine form for Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri has backed Eden Hazard to win the Premier League's Golden Boot this season.

Kane's efficiency in 2016-17 was unusually high by his or any other recent Premier League standards; in the six seasons since Hazard signed for Chelsea in the summer of 2012 the shot conversion rate of the Golden Boot victor has generally fallen just below the 20 percent mark, effectively one goal scored for every five shots taken.

Chelsea boss Sarri believes Hazard can become the best player in Europe, and thinks the Belgium playmaker can fire as many as 40 goals this term.

"I have spoken to him in the last two days, yesterday I told him for me he can score 40 goals".

In his post-match interview, Hazard was asked how much easier Giroud makes life for the players around him, and Hazard heaped the praise on the Frenchman, saying he was possibly the "best target man in the world".

"Put him in the Liverpool and Manchester City team at this moment in time and I think he might be able to". We've traditionally been quite a good team to play if you want to break a winless run!

Hurricane Florence impacts college football games in Carolinas, Virginia
The middle of the cone shows Florence coming ashore around Topsail Island - a slightly southern tweak from earlier projections. While Florence is expected to strengthen as it approaches the Carolina coast, the storm will weaken before it makes landfall.

The Belgium global surged through the defense before finishing powerfully in the 37th minute at Stamford Bridge to cancel out Sol Bamba's surprise opener from winless Cardiff.

The Italian has delivered five wins from five Premier League matches, and the Blues sit proudly on top of the table. "But I also think he can still improve more".

PAOK will now be firmly focused on making an impression in the Europa League, however, as they prepare to welcome Chelsea on Thursday night.

I think Hazard is going to be there for a while.

The Portuguese had to wait for his time to shine during City's record-breaking campaign last season, but is now Guardiola's main man in midfield with Kevin De Bruyne sidelined by a long-term knee injury. You saw today [Saturday] he wasn't able to play, but I hope he can recover in the next two or three days. So for us he is a pleasure to play with'.

They now sit joint-top of the league with Liverpool, although they are ahead due to a better goal difference, and Stamford Bridge is a much happier place to be than it was at times in Antonio Conte's final season.
