Community Members Call For Brooklyn Nail Salon To Close Following Brawl

  • Protesters stop a man from confronting police outside of a nail salon associated with the nail salon where a dispute took place

In the clip, a woman in a black top is being pushed around by the Asian staff of the salon. "She went to the owner, she addressed the owner, she said, "Michael, look at my eyebrows.' And when he looked at her eyebrows, he said, 'I will fix them for you.' She's like, 'You can't fix them for me.' She was like, 'I'm not payin" for this". A man held another woman and would not let her go as the women continued their assault against her too. A nail salon employee was arrested after she was caught on camera repeatedly attacking a customer with a broom.

As the first woman returns with company, the staff put their broomsticks down but the argument continues.

In a video posted to Facebook, Mercy Maduka explained that she was paying a visit to the NY salon when a huge fight broke out over a so-called botched eyebrow.

Mercy was a customer waiting as the chaos unfolded - and the reason why it began is unbelievable.

Witness Mercy Maduka, who posted a widely-shared video of the incident on Facebook, said the fight was sparked by a bad eyebrow job: "So I'm at the nail salon and they fucked up a lady eyebrow and she refused to pay then a fight broke outttt", she wrote, saying the employees hit the customers "like animals". She was later released following a hearing in Brooklyn Criminal Court, police said.

This is the shocking moment nail salon workers brawled with customers - hitting them with broomsticks, fists and dustpans - after one of them refused to pay for a "f***** up" eyebrow job, witnesses said. She was also released on her own recognizance, the Post reports.
