The first trailer has been released for a Neil Armstrong biopic titled appropriately "First Man".

Ryan Gosling plays Armstrong with a cropped haircut and intense frown, while Claire Foy is the obligatory anxious wife.

Fans received their first look at the clip during Friday night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! We then get a glimpse at several key moments in Armstrong's life as he prepares to become the first human being ever to set foot on the moon. For First Man, he's packing him into a rocket and sending him to the moon. Damien Chazelle (La La Land, Whiplash) directs from a script by Josh Singer (Spotlight), based on an earlier screenplay by Nicole Perlman (Guardians of the Galaxy) and the original book by James R. Hansen. She imagines her husband travelling 240,000 miles to land on the moon, telling her husband that it wasn't just another trip, adding that he isn't just "going to work". "TThere are risks but we have every intention of coming back", Gosling tells the press as Armstrong. The movie is expected to explore the sacrifices and the cost - on Armstrong and on the nation - of one of the most risky missions in history.

Hilary Duff pregnant with second child
The baby will also have a playmate in Hilary's new niece Lulu, who was born to her sister Haylie on Thursday. Duff captioned the photo of her and music producer Koma , 31, showing off a growing baby bump.

Chazelle has assembled an excellent ensemble cast to play the parts of Armstrong's fellow astronauts, including Corey Stoll as Buzz Aldrin, Kyle Chandler as Deke Slayton, Jason Clarke as Ed White, Shea Whigham as Gus Grissom, and Jon Bernthal as David Scott.
