Saudi Arabia announced another cabinet reshuffle Saturday with a heavy focus on culture and religion, as the kingdom undergoes a major image overhaul.

Prince Bader has been identified as the buyer of the most expensive painting ever sold at auction by the New York Times previous year.

The statement said the accused admitted to communicating with people and organizations hostile to the kingdom, recruiting people in a sensitive government entity to obtain confidential information to harm the kingdom, and providing financial and moral support to hostile elements overseas.

The statement from the Public Prosecutor's office did not name those detained, and said eight have been temporarily released.

Nine people - five men and four women - remain in detention "after sufficient evidence was made available and for their confessions of charges attributed to them".

Hot debate about the bold spread started due to the fact there was no mention of the jailed women activists who were responsible for bringing the driving ban to the world's attention.

The United Nations called on Saudi Arabia on 29 May to provide information about the arrested activists and ensure their legal rights were guaranteed.

Trump says he’s giving full pardon to Dinesh D’Souza
D'Souza reacted to the news by retweeting Trump's tweet saying his was treated "very unfairly" and by advertising his new movie. His cause was taken up by some on the political right as an example of anti-conservative bias during the Obama administration.

AQAP in southern Yemen is the target of a long-running drone campaign by the United States, which regards it as the most unsafe branch of the extremist group. Iran and Saudi are fierce rivals in the Middle East with both countries vying for influence in the region, including in Lebanon and Yemen.

"We are back to square one", Sydney-based Saudi activist and author Manal Al-Sharif had told CNN.

The cover was meant to mark the end of a ban on women driving, which comes into effect on June 24, but follows sweeping arrests of rights activists in the ultra-conservative country.

3- Providing moral and financial support to elements hostile toward the kingdom. It did not identify the detainees. The terms of their release were unclear.

The crackdown, weeks before a much-hyped lifting of the driving ban, has revived doubts about Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's approach to reforms in the kingdom.

Reports in state-backed media branded some of the detainees traitors and "agents of embassies".
