  • Louisiana televangelist seeks donations for $54M private jet: report

When he thought of how he would pay for it, Duplantis said he recalled something he said God had told him back in 1978.

Specifically, God told Duplantis he needs a Dassault Falcon 7X, a three-engine private jet capable of carrying 12 to 16 passengers at speeds up to 700 miles per hour.

Now the preacher is targeting the necessary funds for a Dassault Falcon 7X, with a $54 million price tag. The Falcon 7X would be his ministry's fourth jet - all paid for with cash drummed up from followers.

Louisiana-based televangelist Jesse Duplantis raised eyebrows Tuesday when he said God told him he needs a new jet.

Duplantis acknowledged that the fundraising drive might ruffle feathers. "Now some people believe that preachers shouldn't have jets". "I really believe that preachers ought to. have every available outlet to get this Gospel preached to the world".

The Emillia Wickstead dress which most closely resembles Meghan's Givenchy one is the £7,000 Helene dress. She told the mag, "Once I was there, I got to see the people that were on the grounds with us".

"I really believe that if the Lord Jesus Christ was physically on the Earth today, he wouldn't be riding a donkey", Duplantis said.

He can fly around the world on his current jet, but he can't do it without stopping to refuel. He has an estimated net worth of $40m and has previously called God his "sugar daddy", PJ Media reports.

In 2015 Texas televangelist Kenneth Copeland purchased a Gulfstream V jet for $36 million. "I drank a fifth of whisky a day, smoked a little dope a week, snorted cocaine, PCP, crystal meth, took trips and never left my house", Duplantis said in one interview.

The minister asked his followers to donate the money to purchase the jet. It's going to reach people. "The mess that the airlines are in today I would have to stop, I'm being very conservative, at least 75 to 80, more like 90 percent of what we're doing because you can't get there from here". "We never ask you to give something that (we) don't give ourselves".

"So pray about becoming a partner toward it, if you like to and if you don't, you don't have to, but I wish you would", he said.
