She called it "abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values".

The network canceled its hit reboot of "Roseanne" Tuesday after Barr's tweet that referred to Jarrett as a cross between the Muslim Brotherhood and the "Planet of the Apes".

While it is unclear exactly what her contract with ABC stipulates, it's likely that Barr could lose millions for her tweets.

While asking not to be defended, she retweeted comments from supporters that attacked ABC and complained that conservatives are tweeted more harshly than liberals for their behavior.

Barr's agency, ICM Partners, has dropped her as a client. Standard Media Index, another industry tracking service, estimated that advertisers spent an average of $167,159 per 30-second ad during the show in April, which made "Roseanne" ABC's most expensive show. Barr then said she was leaving Twitter. Many conservative commentators and the president himself attributed at least some of that success to the lead character's backing of Mr. Trump.

Barr, 65, has repeatedly used Twitter as a platform for her political views, including her distaste for the Clinton family.

She has also criticised her former colleagues for speaking out against her racist tweets.

The victim was treated at Florida Hospital DeLand for various injuries, including head trauma, bruises and a black eye. The worker quietly alerted the authorities, who showed up, seized the gun, and cuffed Floyd, officials said.

Barr apologised personally to Jarrett. She also compared the response to President Donald Trump's experiences.

Barr tweeted that what she did was unforgiveable and urged supporters not to defend her.

The tweet immediately sparked an outrage, with thousands of users pointing out that taking Ambien, which is a sedative taken to help with insomnia, should not cause someone to be racist. "I apologize from the bottom of my heart and hope you can find it in your hearts to forgive me". She says in one of her tweets, there were three rapid-fire today, where she said: 'It was a joke. "I'm anxious about all the people out there who don't have a circle of friends and followers that come right to their defense".

Barr was quickly condemned. She also lashed out at co-stars Michael Fishman and Sara Gilbert.

Disney's CEO added, "There was only one thing to do here and that was the right thing".

She earned about 21 million dollars (£16 million) for acting, directing and producing the nine episodes of the new series, Slate reported. "Dungey for placing the values of diversity, inclusion and respect for humanity above ratings", Mr Johnson said. "Above all, I want to apologise to Valerie Jarrett, as well as to ABC and the cast and crew of the Roseanne show". I just wish that line, in America in 2018, wasn't quite so far away from a place where things are decent and sane. Dan and Roseanne were blue collar workers who often struggled to make ends meet. A racist one. ABC made a choice. Here, Barr is pictured attending the premiere of ABC's "Roseanne" at Walt Disney Studio Lot on March 23, in Burbank, California.
