Samsung has confirmed that it will officially launch the Samsung Galaxy J6 (2018) in India at an event in Mumbai on May 21. Yes, the Galaxy J6 will go on sale in India right from the next day of its launch.

Samsung, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has announced its next in Galaxy J series (J stands for Joy) on the Twitter page. Samsung India has also posted a video of the upcoming launch video on Twitter.

Samsung's tweet reads, "The Samsung #GalaxyJ6 is coming soon with state-of-the-art design and features that will make your life truly infinite".

With the smartphone market in India burgeoning with new users and increasing demands, it will be interesting to see whether Samsung's new Galaxy J6 manages to woo the customers.

The Samsung Galaxy J6 will be equipped with a 5.6-inch HD+ AMOLED Infinity Display with a resolution of 1480 x 720 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. "It's coming to take you #ToInfinityAndMore". The retail box of both the smartphones also reveals that both of them will feature Infinity Display and this is for the first time Samsung will introduce the latest display trend to its budget-centric Galaxy J-series.

The phone will be available in 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB/64GB storage options and will have a 13-megapixel rear camera sensor along with an 8-megapixel front camera sensor with LED flash.

Samsung's European help forum responded by saying, "Following a limited number of cases where Galaxy S7 devices have rebooted unexpectedly with the Android 8.0 Oreo, we have temporarily stopped the rollout of the update". It will be powered by an Exynos 7570 (with a quad-core processor) with 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM and will get 16/32 GB of storage. We have to wait a few more days to know what Samsung has in store for fans.
